ARRA Stimulus Funded Projects

The GRCC is pleased to announce that six of the GRCC Stakeholders received funding under the recent USDOE Area of Interest 4 funding as part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act ( ARRA).This was part of a statewide submission that involved mos tof the Clean Cities organizations in NYS and was coordinated by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority ( NYSERDA). The successful applicants were :

• City of Rochester- 5 Neighborhood Electric Vehicle; 2 Light Duty CNG vehicles   
• Monroe County - 1 LPG( propane)  station and 4 LPG pickups
• Harbec Plastics- 1 Hybrid( HEV) Delivery Truck
• Fariport CSD- 2 PHEV ( plug-in hybrid) school buses
• Palmyra CSD- 1 HEV school bus( hybrid electric)
• Wayne CSD- 2 LPG school buse
